When Henri gets a timeout, he has to sit on our steps. We've encountered a problem with our now mobile daughter going to visit him during his timeouts.
Another typical preschooler problem we deal with daily is teaching Henri how to share toys and other items with his sister and friends.
While Henri was in a timeout this morning, I was cleaning up the breakfast dishes, and Henri announced, "Mama, look! I'm sharing my timeout with Cosette!"
I peaked over the counter and there was Henri smiling proudly with his arm around his sister who was sitting next to him on the step.
He emphasized his sharing a second time, "See? I'm sharing with Cosette my timeout! Yes, I am."
Uh, not quite what I had in mind.
