Times up! Help us decide! Times up!

Using the timer on our camera, we snapped some family pictures yesterday afternoon for Christmas. It surprised me that we actually got some that we're all happy with.

We like and dislike parts of the two pictures below, but we'd both be happy with either too. What a nice predicament to be in!

We can't decide! Help us! Please! Vote!

Please vote on the sidebar, but feel free to leave your comments so that we know why you voted the way you did.

Johnny is planning on cropping and doing his thing with them in Photoshop, but here are the two raw photos:

Wow, nice work camera timer! What a beautiful family--oh and your tree looks great!

They both look great! Nothing to "dislike" about the first one....Cosette's hands in her mouth, I guess, but that's just what babies do! Very beautiful family, Yvette!

Well, I signed up to be a google blogger just so I could post a comment! You do a great job of getting a good family photo out every Christmas--always appreciated! And you guys are looking fantastic as usual--johnny has about as many new wrinkles as Dave does, which comes from about four years of interrupted sleep!
Merry Christmas!

Go for number 1!!!! Number 1!!! Although number 2 does have it's fine qualities (I am reminded of the impressionism of the 18 century), I feel number 1 best evokes the collective emotion that is the Hatch family.... ummm, so yeah, numero uno!

They're both great - I chose #2 because I like how you're leaning in and your eyes are more open - although Henri's smile is more authenticly "Henri" in the first one - whichever one you choose will be great!

Although Henri looks a little more smiley in 14, 16 is my favorite because of the "cheek-to-cheek" between Mom and Cosette. Sweet! Both photos are great though. Also, it's nice in 16 to see more of Beautiful Baby's face.
