Flamingos & Tunnel Slides

I took the kiddos to Como Zoo tonight. We blazed through since with each stop at a new exhibit, Henri wanted to move on. First it was the lions, but after he saw them, he wanted to see the flamingos. "Let's go see the flamingos," he would say. He was interested in the ostrich, giraffes, & polar bears, but he really wanted to see those flamingos and kept asking for them. Hooray! We finally found the flamingos on our way out.

Then we went to the park. Henri doesn't like to go down enclosed "tunnel" slides. My adventurous little boy will do many crazy stunts, but he's afraid of those slides. He did eventually go down a short one, but he would not go down the big one. Then he went a running around and around the park.

Fun! Great pictures! Were the lions sleeping? They are ALWAYS sleeping when we are there:)

Yes, the lions were sleeping. I went there once a few years ago before kids, and one of the male lions was roaring up a storm! He must have gotten tired since then.
