Since moving out of his crib last summer, bedtime has been a battle with Henri. These days he gets out of bed for the same reasons every night, using the excuses he knows he can get away with. They are:
- "I'm afraid of the light." (the light fixture on the ceiling in his bedroom, which is off)
- "I have to go potty." (even though we make him go before he goes to bed, he usually is able to squeeze something out even when giving this excuse)
- "I need a Kleenex." Sniiiifff! Snooorrt! (to prove that he really does need a tissue)
- "Look at this big booger!" (showing something green at the end of his finger)
- "I'm thirsty. I need a drink of water."
- And more, but I can't think of them right now.
Okay, he just walked in again and said, "I need my orange teddy bear." What are you talking about? You don't have an orange teddy bear. "The one on my blanket." What?!
Random thought: I just realized that I forgot to feed Cosette solid food this evening. She's sleeping now. She still spits it out & doesn't eat much, so I keep forgetting that I should keep practicing with her.
