Happy Independence Day....a few days after the fact. What did we do? We went to our neighbors' home 2 doors down for a barbecue. Henri enjoyed their Slip N Slide and a Popsicle. Then we walked ALL the way back to our house, played with our other neighbors while we waited for the fireworks to begin over the river, and then watched them from our backyard. Henri liked watching the "color lights in the sky" and staying up late too.
Our neighbor, Mohammad, thought it was so funny to hold Henri's umbrella over my head while we waited for it to get dark for the fireworks.
