Cosette, now almost 2 says things like:
- "I do it!"--while trying to feed herself, attach her seatbelt, and even putting on pants. We find this amusing since in the last year, we had to make Henri put on on his own clothes since he was quite content to let us dress him. Yet Cosette demands that she figure it out by herself. So funny how they are different.
- "Mine!"
- "Peekt-ta-doo!"--obviously for playing peek-a-boo
- "Tickle back!"--She loves having her back lightly tickled. Oh, and she will not want you to stop even as the goosebumps cover her legs & arms. Her commands get louder and louder with each pause, until in tears, she yells, "TICKLE BACK!"
- Starfall--an educational web site that teaches phonics.
- PBS kids & PBS Early Math--games that teach math & science and other concepts
- The weather--oh yes, this boy checks the radar daily, looking for storms and these days snow.

My kids are the same way when it comes to getting dressed. Julia loves to put on Sam's underw*ar and put her pants on all by herself.
Sam on the other hand has to be encouraged A LOT to put his pants on by himself. We're finally getting him to attempt his shirts by himself. It's so much faster to do it myself, but the look on their face when they accomplish the task is SO worth it. :)
