practically grown up

My first reaction when I saw this picture was to blink a dozen times to make sure I was looking at my baby girl. I'm not sure what it was, but I thought she looked much older than 13 months in this picture.

And I began to panic and thought, "Oh, no! She's going to take the lap top and go to some office and leave! She IS growing up!"

And a book:

And I felt relieved to know that she's still my baby girl, not quite grown up.

Whoops! Adults AREN'T supposed to chew on their books!? Good to know. Cosette's hair is finally starting to get long, isn't it!? Adorable!
